Well it’s windy and blustery and I was up and out the door far too early this morning. But I digress; sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do!
The call went well and afterward, I was able to enjoy my delicious breakfast prepared from the night before:
This was an Almond Butter & Banana sandwich on multigrain bread with a drizzle of honey for some sweetness- it was just what I needed this morning.
You maybe have noticed that I eat a lot of carbs in the morning, and honestly that’s just the way my body works. It helps me wake up and gives me a nice boost of energy, and, when mixed with a protein such as almond butter, keeps my hunger at bay till lunchtime 😉
However, I’ve dubbed next week “smoothie week” to see if I can change up my breakfast habits a bit and get some more fruits and veggies into my system first thing in the morning.
Alright kids, I’ve got lots to do this morning and I’ll be damned if I don’t get my butt to the gym after work. Have a great morning!
